a message from time
Dear Time, the chimes that ring in the gust of your winds have been loud and shaking. I wonder at the lessons of your voice that have brought us here into presence?
It seems that you have warned us of inequities toward our earth, our trees, our plants, our soils, our animals, each other. We have not collectively heeded your call. Instead we have thought ourselves into opinion, judgment, reaction and destruction misusing our minds in order to think ourselves into right, bigger and better.
Upon occasion, it seems you have admonished us with storms, floods, quakes, fires and disease. We have not collectively interpreted your cry. Instead we have reacted in fear that manifests hiding in our bubbles of comfort begging for your stillness once more.
I can hear your winds becoming stronger, louder, more powerful and your voice straining to be heard into active surrender. The paradox within us that feels into knowing that we must surrender to our role as your guests in this fantastic journey upon your trail. And that as such guests, we must remember that our heart beats to the rhythm of yours. Where we step out of tune, we disrupt and destroy that which unites us on your path. To be active in your journey, we must listen and feel into the heart of your message reminding us to activate our hearts. Here within this surrender we can merge into action of love that creates, inspires, grows and leads us into intimate presence.
Perhaps your warnings, your cries, and admonishments have been misunderstood. Perhaps each one is your bell ringing us into the awakening of your infinite offering. Perhaps you are singing us into remembrance of the vibration that carries us into action of love, the highest place of integrity within us and where our power lies. Perhaps you are narrating the great adventure that reminds us to stay awake for it all and be one with the commotion and the peace in active surrender.
Either way, we have resisted you. I know we have wished you away, begged for your mercy, even revelled in your gift, but we have not always listened to your heart. Today I hear you. I hear your sweetness and the rapture of your waters, I hear the magic and the power of your thunder, I hear the peace and rave of your skies, I hear the hurt and the healing of your lands and I am listening in active surrender.
